Jake Dugan grew up on a farm in a town south of Wichita, Kansas. He knew he wanted to be a pharmacist when he was a freshman in high school because this career would allow him the opportunity to help patients every day.
Jake completed his undergraduate degree at Kansas State University, where got a bachelor’s degree in life science, and attended pharmacy school at the University of Kansas. After his first year of pharmacy school he spent a month at Evans Drugs in El Dorado Springs, Missouri. He enjoyed his time at Evans so much that he also did a rotation there during his final year of pharmacy school.
Jake graduated from the University of Kansas School of Pharmacy in May 2018. Upon graduation he worked in a small town in southeast Kansas. It was a great start for his career and prepared him for the opportunity to work at Evans Drug once one presented itself. He has been at Evans Drugs-Osceola since June 2020. Jake and his wife, Tami, are beginning a life together along with starting a small family farm with a variety of different livestock. He enjoys spending time with friends and family as well as raising livestock and the occasional auction.
